Diatomic Life SR
A downloadable project for Windows
I decided to take another look at my old Diatomic Life screensaver, to update it and incorporate a cellular automaton invented by a friend of mine for school. He called it "Stingrays" I always wanted to make a stingrays version of diatomic life, but incorporating the extra states into the motion estimator so that it looks nice took a little more work than expected.
Anyway, here it is. I think you need these things for it to work:
* Windows 95/XP/Me/10/11... (?)
* OpenGL 4.1 capable drivers
* Some video memory
* Probably a GPU will make it run better

Install instructions
The file is zipped. First, unzip it using a decompressing tool, like 7zip or WinZip (do they still have that?)
Install the same as any .scr: Right click and select install.
To uninstall: delete the .scr file.
To configure: Open windows Screen Saver preference screen and click "Settings..."
In the screensaver preference screen, this screen saver will be named "Diatomic Life SR"
